Steps: 1- download .rar file & extract
2- run .exe and install but towards the end uncheck the box saying to run the program now
3- go back to that folder and copy the file "lservrc" to the directory you installed the program to, most likely C:\Program Files\IBM\SPSS\Statistics\24 and paste and replace
4- start the program, enter your email where it asks for the free trial, your licence is now 6042 days
